Registration for the UAJS conferences (March 27–30, 2023) is now open

On March 27–30, 2023, the international conferences “Jews of East-Central Europe after the Catastrophe:  Multiplicity of Experiences, 1945–1956” and “Returning Galician Jews from Oblivion: 100th Anniversary of Jakub Honigsman” will take place in Lviv. The events are organized by the Ukrainian Association for Jewish Studies. The working language of the first conference is English. The working languages of the second one are English, Polish, and Ukrainian.

Researchers from France, Germany, Hungary, Israel, Poland, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Ukraine will participate in these events.

Venue: 6 Bohomoltsia St., Center for Urban History of East Central Europe.

Academicians, students, and journalists may visit the events by registration and upon receipt of approval from the organizers. Those who wish to visit the conference should register here (the first event) and/or here (the second event). The registration will be available by March 25 11 pm (EET). Registered and approved individuals will receive the links to the events via Zoom.
