Workshop “Jewish Studies in Ukraine: Professional Challenges” in Kyiv-Mohyla Academy

On October 23, 2016, the first academic workshop “Jewish Studies in Ukraine: Professional Challenges” organized by the UAJS, the Master Program in Jewish Studies at the NaUKMA, Leonid Nevzlin Research Center for Russian and East European Jewry at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and the Center for Interethnic Relations in Eastern Europe, took place at the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. The event was supported by the Nadav Foundation.

During the workshop, more than 20 young researchers from the universities of Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lviv, Chernivtsy, and Ostroh have discussed a number of relevant issues of academic Jewish Studies in Ukraine.
