On December 12–14, 2018, the Institute of Jewish Studies at the Jagiellonian University hosted the 2nd Polish-Ukrainian workshop for young scholars “History and Heritage of East European Jewry.” At the workshop, seven members of the UAJS presented their papers or moderated the panels. Among the UAJS members were Vitaly Chernoivanenko (Kyiv), Vladyslava Moskalets (Lviv), Alla Marchenko (Warsaw), Mariia Vovchko (Lviv), Nadiia Ufimtseva (Kyiv), Mykhailo Martunenko (Lviv), and Tetiana Malykh (Kyiv).
The workshop was organized by the Institute of Jewish Studies at the Jagiellonian University together with the Jewish Studies Program at the Ukrainian Catholic University (Lviv).
