In September 2024, the International Research Training Group “Belongings: Jewish Material Culture in Twentieth-Century Europe and Beyond”, a joint program between Leipzig University, Leibniz Institute for Jewish History and Culture – Simon Dubnow, and Hebrew University of Jerusalem is going to commence in Leipzig.
In Leipzig, 5 doctoral positions (4 years each) and one postdoc-position (5 years) are being offered. In parallel, 6 doctoral fellowships (4 years each) are available in the program at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. The working language of the program will be English.
