The Ukrainian Association for Jewish Studies with support of the Nadav Foundation announces the establishment of Marten Feller and Zhanna Kovba Book Award for the best volume in the field of Jewish Studies. The first awarding ceremony is planned for autumn 2019. The book award will be given every second year.
The book prize honors the best work in the field of Jewish Studies published in a single volume. Both monographs and other kinds of publications can be nominated for this award. These can also be source books, archival guides, bibliographic indicators, translations of classical literary texts or historical sources from Jewish languages, provided with a qualified scholarly apparatus.
Works published in 2014–2018 can be nominated for the award in 2019. In years to come, it is planned to consider books printed within every following two years.
The applications will be accepted until May 10, 2019.
