The French activist and writer Patrick Le Tréhondat interviewed the UAJS vice president, Serhiy Hirik, about the myths on antisemitism in Ukraine spread by Russian propaganda, realities, and sensitive issues of Ukrainian-Jewish relations in the past.

Yad Vashem has organized the international conference “Holocaust Education: Time, Place and Relevance,” which took place in Jerusalem on June 25–28, 2018. 358 participants from 50 countries were invited to this event.

The 11th volume of The Odessa Review features two essays by the secretary of the UAJS, Serhiy Hirik. In the first essay, the author outlines the history and evolution of Jewish political parties in Ukraine in the early 20th century. The second one reflects on the roots and ways of Ukrainian-Jewish cooperation.
