In 2012, the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy together with Vaad of Ukraine founded the first M.A. program in Jewish Studies in Ukraine. Vitaly Chernoivanenko is co-director of this program and president of the Ukrainian Association for Jewish Studies.
